FOCUS – Forward Looking Social Europe Skills

Implemented between January 2020 – June 2022, funded by the Erasmus+ program and coordinated by CONCORDIA (RO) Humanitarian Organization together with partners from 4 countries – National College of Social Workers (RO), Fachhochschule Vorarlberg Gmbh (AT), SOSU Østjylland (DK), Instituto Formazione Operatori Aziendali – I.F.O.A. (IT), the FOCUS project used foresight discipline and tools to investigate the future of social professions and the skills needed by professionals in the perspective of 2030.

The social sector is one of the most important sectors at the European level but is strongly affected by changes such as demographic trends, economic crisis, population, and labor migration.

Through the FOCUS project, we aimed to increase the number of organizations in the social sector capable of planning and conducting on-the-job training courses for professionals in the sector, who will develop the necessary skills at the European level in the perspective of 2030.
